Getting Around
By dolmus: Fethiye’s dolmuses, or mini buses, operate around once an hour between the town centre and local beaches and attractions. They are an easy and affordable way to get around within the resort.
By car: If you’re interested in exploring in your own time, hiring a car may be the best option. There are a number of competitive car hire companies located at Dalaman Airport.
By bike: Fethiye is a pleasant place to explore on two wheels, and easy to get around within the resort. Outside Fethiye, the roads begin to get steep, and cycling further afield should be left to experienced cyclists.
Events
Culture and arts: Fethiye Culture and Arts Festival comes to town every May, for four days of concerts, performances and cultural events. These include performances by local bands and musicians, art events for children, workshops and theatrical performances.
Air games: The Oludeniz Air Games is one of the most unusual and exciting events in the region, taking place in October in nearby Oludeniz. The event includes thrill-seekers from the worlds of skydiving, paragliding, base jumping and more putting on shows and displays for five days over Babadag Mountain and on Oludeniz’s beach.

Fethiye heats up gradually throughout the spring, typically climbing into the 20s (°C) by May. Book your holiday for summer for glorious highs of 33 and up to 14 hours of sunshine a day, or come in the autumn when temperatures are slightly cooler and the resort is quieter. Winter temperatures rarely drop below 10, even in January.
